Dhruva Manoj
From a young age, I’ve always had a keen interest in photography. The idea of capturing and freezing a moment in time has always fascinated me. I started off with landscape photography and slowly progressed to macro photography. In the pursuit of capturing better pictures, I am sharing some tips and tricks I have learnt in the past 3 years. All pictures on this website have been taken using a Samsung Galaxy S8.
I have been actively taking part in photography contests and I have been posting these on social media. In previous years, I have partaken in various photography competitions and won prizes.
I began my photographic journey with landscape photography, and it is something that I still enjoy to this day. I have always been fascinated by the stunning colours and cloud patterns at dusk. I persisted at my newfound hobby and continued to explore ways to improve.
My interest in macro photography piqued end 2018, when I recieved my Samsung Galaxy S8. The End-Of-Year examinations were over and now I had a better phone to experiment and take photos with. This was when I discovered manual mode on my phone, enabling me to take pictures with better quality and clarity.
Most of my macro photos are focused on insects. These were more interesting and challenging, as the subject could fly or move away any time. The joy I get when I take a good picture is indescribable, especially when the subject is hard to capture.
